20" Radial Flow Iron Reduction Cartridge

The Radial Flow Iron Reduction Cartridge is designed to provide an easy and efficient means of removing and reducing iron content from your water, greatly improving the taste of your water. The cartridge effectively eliminates orange and brown stains commonly found in sinks, toilets, tubs and other plumbing fixtures. This cartridge reduces the possibility of damage to pipes and water heaters and reduces up to 3ppm dissolved iron. The cartridge adds no harmful chemicals to the water, making it completely safe for your drinking water. It's recommended to install the FPIR-BB-20 on the main cold water line after the pressure tank or water meter. For best results, pre-sediment and post-carbon treatment is recommended by purchasing the FILOS 45 Water Purification System.

- Silica: <100 ppm

- Manganese: <1 ppm

NOTE: Water conditions outside of the above specified limits may lead to a shortened filtration life. If your water contains Iron Bacteria, shock chlorination is recommended. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. NOTE: The FPIR-BB-20 cartridges will contain a very small amount of fines (very fine powder) and new cartridges, after installation, should be flushed with sufficient water to remove all traces of fines from your water system before use.
